When our founder, Ricky V., learned his daughter had cystic fibrosis, he moved his family back to the California coast, seeking the healing benefits of the ocean. It was also a return to his roots, where his grandfather began the family's furniture and mattress business over 40 years ago.

Drawing on that legacy, Ricky set out to create a better way. He saw how overpriced the mattress industry had become and knew he could offer the same top-quality craftsmanship made in the USA at prices that truly made sense.
